In order to offer a further increase in driving behavior and an increase in the downstop, we have had this pleasant, sporty and comfortable complete suspension developed, which sets new standards in terms of driving dynamics for lift-up suspensions. With the approx. + 35mm perfectly matched Eibach lift coil springs and the extended and reinforced Bilstein B6 COMFORT shock absorbers, which at the rear axle with Monotube technology bring the superior Bilstein driving behavior even in lift chassis. And despite the higher center of gravity, they also help to reduce the side tilt compared to the standard chassis. With millimeter-precise adjustment options on the rear axle to avoid the hitch-hanger look and the difference in height between right and left and of course for optimized driving and braking behavior for buses with a permanently high load / expansion at the rear. Ideal for all California models. Furthermore, to offer the best possible damping force off-road as well. Durability, settling strength and optimal driving behavior for lift-up chassis. In contrast to Bilstein yellow with approx. 10-15% more comfortable damping in rebound and compression for pleasant driving behavior in everyday life.
For vehicles with full equipment or DSG or a long wheelbase, the height increase can be significantly reduced due to the additional weight on the front axle, which is why we recommend the TWIN MONOTUBE PROJECT LIFT COIL-OVER SUSPENSION, which can also be screwed higher at the front!
In vehicles with DCC, the DCC must be properly shut down after the shock absorber has been replaced. Developed + made by Eibach Germany + Bilstein Germany!
